From the contextual inquiry, I derived that patients wanted a subtle notification device so I designed a bracelet with a digital screen display that serves as both a watch and notification system.
Many of my users may also have limited experience with technology so I designed the watch with a single button that users can press to dismiss a notifcation or hold down to turn the watch off.
Multiple forms of output
The patients may have varying levels of accessibility so the watch both visibly alerts you of notifications as well as vibrates.
Minimal digital display
To blend in as a watch and be simple to use, the digital interface displays the time until there is a notification. To quickly check on your medication progress for the day, it also displays 24 lines labeled grey, green or red to display the time you have a dose or have missed or taken it.
